Samenvatting

Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) are among the major growing technologies. They come in various shapes, sizes, and designs, ranging from fixed-wing (FW) to rotary-wing (RW). They have a wide range of useful capabilities, but they can also pose a potential threat and, as a result, effective countermeasures are needed to counter them. A NATO project called NNTEX-22C has been set up to compare the ability of dedicated C-sUAS technologies to neutralize sUAS with a baseline represented by a military squad performing AAAD (All Arms Air Defence) with their regular means. This paper presents the used methodology and summarizes some of the key findings in a ‘snapshot’ of how dedicated technologies can perform against sUAS compared with the baseline.
