Samenvatting

This deliverable reports the first‑year progress of WP4, which aims to evolve the COURAGEOUS CWA 18150:2024 into a harmonised C‑UAS test standard. As the first iteration of the methodology, D4.1 focuses on documenting preparatory work rather than presenting an updated standard text.
During Year 1, the consortium primarily addressed the administrative and procedural requirements of the ISO/CEN/CENELEC standardisation process, including liaison with relevant technical committees and preparation for the New Work Item Proposal. In parallel, partners achieved important technical groundwork, including updated scenario definitions, preliminary test metrics, and contributions to Voluntary Performance Requirements requested by the EC and JRC. These elements remain pre‑validation outputs, pending confirmation in the first COURAGEOUS² field trial scheduled early in Year 2.
Accordingly, D4.1 provides an overview of completed activities across all WP4 tasks and outlines the way forward for Year 2, when validated trial results will lead towards the development of an international standard.
