Biografie
Benoît G. Marinus volgde de diplomacursus aan het von Karman Instituut voor Stromingsleer voordat hij in 2011 een doctoraat behaalde aan de Centrale Lyon, Frankrijk, de Koninklijke Militaire Academie en het von Karman Instituut. Zijn belangrijkste interessegebieden zijn optimalisatie, externe aerodynamica, akoestiek, propellers en vliegtuigontwerp. Luitenant-kolonel Marinus is hoogleraar aan de Koninklijke Militaire School en gasthoogleraar aan de Vrije Universiteit van Brussel en Universiteit Gent.
