This hybrid event, offering both online and on-site participation, is an unparalleled opportunity to explore the latest advancements and ongoing research in the dynamic field of turbulent combustion.
Designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of this complex subject, the series will commence with the state-of-the-art review of on-going activities and applications of turbulent combustion and to outline current research directions. After the introductory lectures on the fundamentals of combustion, and in particular of turbulent combustion, participants will delve into cutting-edge experimental techniques and numerical modeling approaches, exploring their applications in single and two-phase flows with liquid and solid fuels. Topics such as combustion in gas turbines, boilers, and critical fire and safety issues will be thoroughly addressed by leading experts in the field.
