Preparation of ballistic experiments in order to study the energy absorption of aluminium plates reinforced with micro- and nanoparticles. Using projectiles with the same energy level as 7,62x51 SS77, V50-measurements shall be performed with mild steel targets having an equivalent areal density as the SiC and AlMg5-0.4% nanoAl2O3 plates to be studied in the second part of the project (see 1.1.2). The tests shall be performed according to STANAG 2920.
