The workshop gave background information on on-going work at EU level on M&S2, providing an overview of related projects, and discussed their synergies and possible future activities. The last part of the workshop was dedicated to the discussion of the Defence needs. The definition of R&T goals to be achieved by different types of projects within the EDA was the second objective of the workshop. In summary, the main objective of the workshop was to identify the potential impact of these technologies in Defence.
