Beschrijving
The course consisted of a structured instructional session introducing the students to key aspects of ground robotics as conducted within the research group. The program provided an overview of current projects and active platforms, followed by a technical introduction to one or more ground robots. The students were guided through the process of commissioning, configuring, and monitoring robotic systems, illustrating the operational workflow from initial setup to field deployment.A practical demonstration was provided on the test field, offering insight into real‑world behaviour and performance. Given the students’ familiarity with ROS2, specific attention was given to the integration of ROS2 within the group’s robotic architecture and research activities.
The session concluded with an outline of future academic and professional opportunities within RMA.
