Résumé
This deliverable documents the methodological and practical steps applied in the creation of the SafeShore project website. It clearly lays out the procedures followed and activities performed in order to generate fully functional public website that represents a project’s main dissemination tool. The process was designed and followed in adherence to that of comparable websites of other Horizon 2020 projects of similar scope.
Activities related to this deliverable form part of Work Package 8 and include: a) analysis of requirements of the SafeShore website; b) user interface visual design; c) acquisition of the domain safeshore.eu; d) layout of website's structure; e) HTML/CSS code generation; f) gathering and input of content from partners; e) correction of configuration and implementation of improvements; f) contingency plans for site maintenance and updates.
The deployment of the SafeShore website at month 2 was an important millstone in the project's future online dissemination efforts. The website in its current state features any project related information (e.g. mission and objectives, project partners, news, events, publications, results, impacts, etc.), which will be regularly updated to inform the public about project’s activities and outcomes throughout and beyond project duration.
This document is structured as follows: Section 1 offers a short introduction to the content of the deliverable, section 2 summarizes the work performed as part of the website creation process and section 3 concludes with respective results. The main part of the deliverable is the website itself, to be found at safeshore.eu. Some samples of the SafeShore web-pages can be found in Annex I.
