Résumé

Electrostatic shields enter present coupling calculations as a jump condition on a constant coordinate surface (a plane in slab geometry). Representing the shield as a current source removes this limitation; the shield becomes an additional antenna. Magnetic shielding and a shield feeder current effect are embedded in present model as current fields, this model being adapted to general shield geometries. The above blade feeder current effect owes its existence to shield nonplanarity, and has repercussions on coaxial edge mode excitation. Both standard and frame-limited shields are discussed in the light of the shield feeder effect.
