A cryptographic design is not secure if its implementation has flaws. As Belgium Defence clearly identified the need for cryptographic product evaluation, expertise in secure implementation including resistance to side-channel attacks becomes
essential, driving our objective to study ways to produce and evaluate secure cryptographic implementation on software.
