Description
This first visit to the University of the Basque Country (Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea) to acquire practical training in advanced synthesis techniques for metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), including microwave-assisted synthesis, mechanochemical synthesis, and hydrothermal synthesis. Professor Óscar Castillo, partner of the nStorH project, has invited us to visit his research facilities and will provide guidance throughout the process of hybridizing materials for H2 storage applications. In preparation for this visit, the carbon-based materials (activated carbons, as well as melamine- and terephthalaldehyde-derived carbons) have already been prepared at the CHCH department.
