In the framework of the development of a Bird Strike Launcher System, which is comprised from a launching tube, a sabot, and a projectile, tests are required, in order to determine if the global assembly, tube, sabot projectile, fulfils the requirements. The most important one is the velocity, that must be superior to 200m/s, at which the projectile must suffer minor elastic deformations and no physical damages.
