Abstract
You can find in this project the Python code for pseudonymisation of SS7 identifiers like MSISDN (public subscriber number) and IMSI (mobile identifier). Pseudonymisation is necessary to hide the real identity associated with SS7 data which can reveal private information of the subscribers involved. Anonymisation is not an option since converted identifiers must remain unique to allow for linking SS7 data associated with each subscriber.
To check if some files are pseudonymised versions of original .csv files of SS7 parameters, check_pseudo.py program reconstructs the random tables used for pseudonymisation, and detects possible inconsistencies when filling those tables. If the .csv file headers are similar and no table inconsistency is found, the files are declared to be correct pseudonymised versions.
