Resonantly H.F.-sustained plasma around an antenna

Abstract

When sufficient h.f. power is fed to a plasma-coated antenna, the plasma becomes resonantly sustained. The superposition of the resonance patterns at frequencies ω, 2ω and 3ω is investigated, and it explains most of the observed facts.
