Abstract
The main electron resonance, whose behavior up to ωce/ ω ≃ 1 is well understood, has now been experimentally followed up to high magnetic fields (ωce/ω ≃ 50) in a very quiet plasma. There is very good agreement with recent theoretical predictions based on the hydrodynamical description of a bounded, hot, electron-ion plasma, thereby confirming, for the values of the plasma parameters involved, the validity of the theory used.
