Project Details
Goal of the project
In the event of large-scale accidental releases of toxic compounds to the atmosphere and considering a growing terrorism concern, it is of paramount importance to develop high performance materials for specific and broad range respiratory protection in order to minimize the effects of CBRN threats. Herein, carbon-based nanoporous sorbents will be synthesized from biomass waste in order to fulfil this goal.
