Project Details
Goal of the project
The intended research is mainly numerical, in order to develop CFD models taking into account on the one hand the aerodynamic or hydrodynamic specificities of different projectile configurations (Mach regimes, geometrical characteristics, media in the case of supercavitating bullets), and on the other hand the numerical guidance models (trajectories and stability design) accounting for the aerodynamics previously defined. The final outcome is an expert trajectory toolbox offering a whole panel of flight options relevant to operational users.
