Project Details
Goal of the project
Due to its geographical and socio-economical situation, Belgium did not had the need yet for the development of a broad telemedicine capacity. Both the COVID-19 pandemic and the geopolitical evolution of the past 2 years have shown that telemedicine is a capability we need to develop. This requires both an evidence-based approach and a careful tailoring to the real needs of the Belgian Defence. This is the objective of the TELEMED project: designing an evidence-based solution that is both grounded in science and tailored to the deployment scenarios.
