Goal of the project
Aside from their obvious destructive force, explosions can also be used to spread radioactive or toxic substances over a large area. We aim to perform experiments that simulate this explosive dispersion, to contribute to the prediction of the consequences of this type of attack. With the combined expertise and capabilities of the RMA, VKI and Belgian Defence we are uniquely positioned to make a useful contribution.
