Project Details
Goal of the project
The objective is to study the requirements of future small caliber ammunition, starting from the core, being the desired terminal effects of the projectile. It will research the optimum projectile design(s), which in their turn will be the starting point for possibly completely new ammunition design. The latter could take advantage of new developments in the field of internal ballistics, including new propellant and/or cartridge case designs.
