Sea Dumped Ammunition: scientifically based threat, impact and risk analysis

Project: Research

Project Details

Goal of the project

In this study, a general strategy for the risk assessment of sea dumped ammunitions is developed: which models exist, in what way are they applicable or not on this particular problem and what input parameters are deemed necessary to yield the most reliable evaluation of the actual risk?

Key findings

Finally, a model for the risk analysis was developed based on the results and on input about incidents in the North Sea.
