Project Details
Goal of the project
The research project entails the continuation of a previous project, specifically the development and evaluation of a Belgian Defence proprietary tool for Advanced Persistent Threat detection as current off-the-shelf tools are not sufficient. Furthermore, the proprietary character of the tool protects it against analysis by threat actors, thereby preventing the development of obfuscation and evasion techniques.
Role of the organisation
The Cyber Defence Lab at the Royal Military Academy has been active in the domain of cyber security for more than 10 years. A vast experience has been acquired through different studies and projects realized in that domain, in partnership with many national and international institutions, research centres and private companies (EDA, ESA, DBI, RHEA , etc.).
