Project Details
Goal of the project
This study will try to identify the spectral bands in the Visible and Infrared (VIR) part of the electromagnetic spectrum that are best suited to detect buried mines in real-time and under different parametric settings. This opens the possibility to use filter-equipped panchromatic sensors as makeshift multispectral imagers, thus greatly reducing the equipment cost compared to true hyperspectral imagers.
