Project Details
Goal of the project
This project aims to improve the characterisation of the chemical compatibility
between energetic materials and contact materials in ammunition in order to increase ammunition safety and reduce barriers to innovation. It will develop new techniques, such as chemiluminescence and mass spectrometry, and extend the scope of existing techniques to novel energetic materials.
