Goal of the project
The public release of advanced generative artificial intelligence (AI) systems, exemplified by ChatGPT, has accelerated adoption within commercial industries and defence sectors globally. Large Language Models (LLMs) and Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs) offer considerable potential for enhancing efficiency across various application domains relevant to defence operations. This project aims to conduct a comprehensive review of the current state-of-the-art in generative AI, identify and support the development of pertinent defence use cases, and produce proof-of-concept demonstrators.
