Goal of the project
Belgian Defence faces challenges in attracting, recruiting, and retaining younger generations, particularly Generation Z. This research project will analyse generational expectations within Defence and develop targeted policy recommendations. Using both quantitative and qualitative methods, it will produce scientific publications and practical guidelines. Findings aim to strengthen recruitment strategies, reduce attrition and enhance retention efforts. The project will be conducted in collaboration with the NATO HFM SAS-208 working group.
