Goal of the project
EVIRAIN examines how AI and autonomous systems disrupt military knowledge and trust structures. Applying a novel “virtue epistemology framework” to selected use cases, EVIRAIN identifies intellectual virtues necessary to address challenges AI poses to responsible, reliable military decision-making. EVIRAIN provides stakeholder-informed guidance for Belgian Defence on epistemic virtues essential for successful AI integration.
