Goal of the project
In order to evaluate non-penetrative impacts of Kinetic Energy Non-Lethal Weapons and Behind Armour Blunt Trauma, the purpose of the study is to develop a new state-of-the art thorax-abdomen finite element model. It will be based on a 50th percentile human geometry and will be validated using data from the literature. It will currently be dedicated to non-penetrative impacts.
