Detection of trace amounts of explosives

Project: ResearchDFR

Project Details

Goal of the project

The main scope of this project is to study the diffusion of explosives through different media such as containers and soils. This will permit to get a better understanding of the detection of explosives in a gaseous phase such as by dogs and dedicated sensors. In order to be detectable, the explosive must diffuse through the packaging or the soil. This project will give information on explosives that can diffuse or not through a given type of packaging or soil after a given time.
