Design of an Efficient Framework for Strategic Steganalysis

Project: Research

Project Details

Goal of the project

The use of data hiding techniques (steganography) for malicious purposes is soaring. This project concerns the detection of hidden information (steganalysis) in digital media with a two-fold objective:
1) Develop an efficient theoretical and practical framework allowing to take into account strategic choices of the offensive and defensive sides based on the resources at their disposal; 2) Develop operational detectors based on system steganalysis and on the identified optimal steganalysis strategies.
