Project Details
Goal of the project
The CIVBEL project analyses how Belgium established a complex system of civil-military coordination committees and commissions between 1950 and 1992 to facilitate civil protection and ensure the survival of critical infrastructure and services in times of crisis or war. It compares the Belgian case to a selected number of other European countries, in order to learn valuable lessons for the (very near) future.
Funding acknowledgement
The project HFM/26-15 - CIVBEL is financed under the DFR call.
