Assessing Risk-related Decision-Making Skills on Shooting: Development of a tool to study shooters' performance and its neurocognitive biases

Project: Research

Project Details

Goal of the project

This project will focus on studding how shooting training shapes soldiers situation awareness (SA); and decision making (DM) through the formation of somatic markers. Thus, a shooting DM assessment tool will be developed and validated to test the potential role of physiological signals on shooting skills acquisition and performance. We expect that our findings will provide a valuable research tool capable to enlighten the fundamentals of shooting skills acquisition and effective SA and DM training.
