Project Details
Goal of the project
In an increasingly polarised world, weaker states face growing pressure to align with competing great powers such as the United States, China, and Russia. This project investigates how African and Latin American countries navigate these pressures and whether their alignment choices support or challenge the interests of Belgium and the EU. Combining network analysis and in-depth case studies, the research will provide Belgian Defence with tools for strategic foresight and international partnership development.
