Biography

Benoît G. Marinus attended the Diploma Course at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics before earning a PhD degree from Centrale Lyon, France, the Royal Military Academy and the von Karman Institute in 2011. His major fields of interest concern optimization, external aerodynamics, acoustics, propellers, and aircraft design. Lieutenant-colonel Marinus holds a position of Professor at the Royal Military Academy and Guest Professor at the Vrije Universiteit van Brussel and Universiteit Gent.
