Additional Description

This course aims to teach technologies for characterizing and monitoring agroecosystems. Specifically, geophysical techniques for imaging and characterizing soil properties are presented, such as ground-penetrating radar, electromagnetic induction, and electrical resistivity tomography. The course also covers the use of drones for environmental monitoring, including multispectral, thermal infrared, and LiDAR sensors, as well as photogrammetry. Fundamental concepts, instruments, and signal analysis methods will be explored in depth. Students will become familiar with these tools through practical exercises and an integrated project.
