Description
The topics to be addressed within SEPIA JRP are related to the detection, classification and identification of bottom, drifting, tethered, and buried mines and ordnance; including but not limited to: sensing (including acoustic and non-acoustic sensors, environmentally adaptive sensing), perception (including machine learning, artificial intelligence and signal processing for automatic recognition algorithm), change detection, identification metrics, autonomy, interoperability, mine sweeping, at-sea experimentation for maritime unmanned systems (MUS); mission planning; science and technology (S&T) related to system of systems (SoS); simulation and modelling; performance evaluation; and any other closely related topic.
Additional Description
The overall objective of the SEPIA JRP is to enable, in a cost-effective manner, the advancement of mine search and recognition capabilities by leveraging the resources of the Participants in a cooperative effort.
