Projektdetails
Goal of the project
This project addresses the growing need for robust embedded security in cryptographic implementations, particularly against physical attacks such as side-channel attacks (SCAs) and fault injection attacks (FIAs). These attacks exploit the physical emanations and faults of cryptographic devices to extract sensitive information, posing significant threats to national security. Defending against these attacks is crucial for protecting sensitive infrastructures and enhancing the resilience of national Defence systems against sophisticated adversaries. The project focuses in particular on post-quantum cryptographic (PQC) schemes, a recent family of cryptographic algorithms designed to resist attacks from quantum computers. However, these schemes were not originally designed with the implementation of security in mind, making them vulnerable to physical attacks. INES aims to address this gap by developing secure implementations of PQC algorithms that can withstand SCAs and FIAs. To be completed
