Goal of the project
The project aims at developing a methodology to calibrate the cup anemometers of the Royal Meteorological Institute and to perform calibrations on their equipment. The project also aims at keeping track of how these calibrations evolve in time over multiply.
Role of the organisation
RMA:
- develops the methodology and the calibration chain;
- evaluates, computes and propagates all errors;
- performs calibrations;
- tracks the evolution of the calibrations over multiple years for selected instruments;
- performs ad hoc measurements and simulations.
